Looking like large upright rats, ratlins live a hidden existance among the races of the Deep. Originally created by Dark Elf arcane experimentation with rats, the intelligent creatures quickly escaped and developed a society of their own. Now they wander the Deep in small bands or ferociously infest abandoned villages and cities of the "Bright World".

Common Personality Traits: Listless, short-tempered, dangerously curious

Common Physical Traits: Matted fur, foul-smelling, piercing eyes, long tails

Example Names: Klisk, Viss, Khres, Skyuss

Splinter Race Feats: None (TBD).

Type: Small (1×1) biped Folk with a Reach of 1. Your maximum wounds equal 2/3 your Constitution score.

• Attributes: +2 Dexterity, +1 Intelligence, +1 Constitution, -1 Wisdom, -1 Strength
• Base speed: 30 ft.
• Low Light Vision
• Sharp Mind: You gain 1 additional skill point per level.
• Iron Gut: You gain a +2 insight bonus with saves against disease and poisons.
• Enlightened Sneak: Your maximum Sneak rank increases to your Career Level + 5. Only the highest bonus from any single enlightened ability may apply to each skill.
